You asked for classes and Quilt Culture is delivering!  We just added 12 new classes to the existing class schedule.  Kim Mai is coming out from Minnesota to teach for 2 weeks beginning March 25th so check your calendar and the class schedule and get signed up fast.  There are only 10 spots per class.  Don’t miss out!

BOM’s

Here a block, there a block, everywhere a block of the month! Lol

We have the $5 BOM starting the 3rd Saturday of March.  There is still room for you to join in the “Chit” fun. 

Chatsworth is another fantastic BOM and also uses “Chits”.  This BOM begins the 2nd Saturday of March. 

Since we’ve been talking about these 2 BOM’s that use “chits” you may be wondering what a “chit” is. A “chit” is a cut of fabric approximately 10 x 12. We have so many to choose from we had to get 3 “chitwagon’s” to hold them all!!

Verona BOM is a beautiful quilt. If you didn’t see my facebook post about it, you can check it out by clicking here. In case you are on the fence about signing up for this block of the month I will let you know there are only 3 spots remaining!!

And last but not least is “Kitty Litter”.  This is a skills builder BOM that will increase your quilting bench.  A very fun and cute quilt to make.

Aprons for Autism

We have had some amazing sewing happening for Aprons for Autism.  What we need your help with is finding programs, schools and facilities to donate aprons to.  If you know of a program that might need aprons and can reach out to them on our behalf and direct them to our website www.quiltculture.art that would help tremendously.  We are so grateful for the help and outreach from the global community.  We truly cannot do it without you. 

Last but not least…

We have put together a raffle basket and you can have a chance to win it.  It’s valued at $250!

How can you get a ticket?  Bring us the JOY!  If you bring in a 12-inch finished JOY Block anytime during the month of April, you will receive a raffle ticket for the basket.  The block must be 12 inches finished and have the word JOY anywhere on the front.  It also needs to have a 2” sleeve on the back so it can hang in the shop. 

Keep spreading that JOY like only quilters can and thank you for letting us share in your JOY! We can’t wait for what the 3rd year of Quilt Culture brings!  I have a feeling it’s going to be especially JOYFUL!!
