The Shop Hop was AMAZING!!!

Quilters are sooooo FANTASTIC I hardly have words! Congratulations to Jill Maughan who won the Grand Prize! And to Bonnie Jackman the winner of the California Quilt! Thank you to everyone that came out for the shop hop. We at Quilt Culture are forever grateful for your support, your encouragement, and your JOY! I can’t wait until next year. That’s right, NEXT YEAR we will be having the North State River Run Shop Hop again so go ahead and mark your calendars for October 5 th 6 th and 7 th 2023. Don’t worry, we will keep you posted on all the fantastic fun we are planning.

We really stocked up for the shop hop, so we have tons of new fabrics and the newest is WIDEBACKS!! YEAH! There are lots of choices for the back of your quilt and now there are a few more and of course more on the way!

FREE OPEN SEW is going great. We have so much fun on Open Sew days. Remember it doesn’t cost a thing, all you have to do is sign up thru the website www.quiltculture.art and come join in the fun. If you want to learn something during an open sew day, simply ask and I will be happy to teach you … for free!

Quilt Culture is honored to be a vendor at not one but 2 quilt shows that are coming up. First is Paradise Quilt Show on October 22nd and 23rd and then the Chico Quilt Show on November 5th and 6th . Of course, we will be bringing amazing fabric for you to buy but also, we will be bringing QS Rulers at amazing low prices and WIDEBACKS in 3 yard packages for just $45. So, bring your quilt tops and make finishing your quilt a breeze.

We are always happy to help you with your projects at reasonable prices. I always say that as a quilter if you have to choose between fabric and food our husbands are going to be skinny… lol

QUILT CAMP!

Quilt Camp Is HERE! Quilt Culture is a local Red Bluff Quilt Shop. Our business model is a simple one. We offer quality, reasonably priced fabric, notions, and patterns as well as Free Sew Days and now reasonably priced Retreats! Why do we do it?Because, you shouldn’t have to choose between fabric and food. You should be able to enjoy a craft and learn that skill amongst friends for a reasonable cost. Our main goal is to infuse the art of quilting with JOY! At Quilt Culture we give JOY away by the bucket full! After loosing my home, my town, and my friends in the Paradise Campfire, I needed JOY. Lots of JOY. It took a little while to get back on my feet but when I did, I couldn’t think of a better thing to do with my good fortune than to share it with the most wonderful group of people I know, Quilters. I hope you enjoy Quilt Culture whether you come in for a fat quarter, a yard, a whole quilt worth of fabric, a free sew day, advice on a quilting technique or just a conversation to support you in your travels thru life. We are here for you and so glad you are here for us. Thank you for the opportunity to sew with you and grow with you.

Seam Ripper Alley

This room has 4 twin size beds all outfitted with Bamboo Sheets, Down Comforters and Handmade Quilts. For the low fee of $225 per bed you will not only get 24 hr access to the classroom to sew as much as you like but also dinner the night you arrive and lunch and dinner the following 2 days and 3 restful nights in a comfortable bed. Check in will be 3pm and Checkout is 10am.

SABLE (Share this room with a friend or with your partner if you like) This room has one Queen bed for 2 people to share. The bed is outfitted with Bamboo Sheets, Down Comforters and Handmade Quilts. For the low fee of $450 you and a friend will not only get 24 hr access to the classroom to sew as much as you like but also dinner the night you arrive and lunch and dinner the following 2 days and 3 restful nights in a comfortable bed. Check in will be 3pm and Checkout is 10am.

It is recommended that you bring a closed container to drink from in the classroom. There will be Coffee, Tea, and Water available to drink. Please bring some breakfast snacks to share with everyone or feel free to check out one of our local eateries like From The Hearth for Breakfast. Lunches and dinners will be balanced with fresh food, but should you have special dietary needs please bring what you need to enjoy your time with us. There is a full-size fridge for anything you bring for yourself or to share. You will also have access to shop in our store that is full of reasonably priced quality quilting fabric, and we always pay the tax for you at Quilt Culture.
