There is always something new happening at Quilt Culture.  As many of you know, we are moving out of state and are going to be selling off the contents of the shop and our home in the next couple of months.  We will announce as furniture becomes available as well as fixtures from the shop.  This will mean good deals for you so be sure to get out your quilt projects and get your wide backs while they last. 

NEW HOURS!

Yes! We will be open Monday thru Saturday 10am to 3pm until we close.  This should give everyone a chance to come get what they need.  Starting Feb 3rd there will be a discount given for paying in cash. 

The last class

Feb 1st was the last class at Quilt Culture.  It was super fun, and everyone made a Hat.  What a great last class memory.

The Quilt Culture Van

Yes, the van is for sale!  Own a piece of history?  Well, maybe not quite that but it’s a great van for doing all kinds of shows.  We will remove the wrap before you take delivery.  It has just over ten thousand miles on it so practically brand new.  We are asking for $43,000 and are open to offers. 

Long arms

Good news!  Both of the long arms have sold, and they are going to be staying in Red Bluff.  The new owners are going to be quilting for you after they complete training.  Give them a little time to get proficient and before long you will still have the ability to get your quilts quilted right here in town. 

Common Questions

Every day we get a lot of the same questions.  Most of these I don’t have an answer to ... lol... But I will explain as best as I can the timeline we are looking at.  Of course, all of this is subject to change at any moment. 

We haven’t purchased a home yet, so we don’t know exactly what town we are going to.  I’m currently on our 3rd contract to buy a house.

No, I haven’t ever been to Tennessee or Kentucky, and I don’t have family there but that’s ok.  When I moved to Red Bluff, I didn’t know a soul and now look at how many people I know and love!

No, I don’t intend to open another quilt shop when I get there.  Quilt Culture has been a fantastic experience but happened quite by accident.  I was asked if I could carry some fabric for quilters to buy and 3 short years later, I have a Van, 2 long arms and an 1800 sf shop in my backyard full of fabric!  LOL

Yes, I will still be posting on social media and plan on doing things with the quilting community.  What will that be?  Time will tell. 

Yes, we are selling our household items too.  Remember that we moved to Red Bluff after our house burned to the ground in Paradise.  Moving with little or no belongings is ok with us.  They do sell furniture in whatever town we land in. 

Aprons for Autism

We still have orders for Aprons, and I will be continuing to make and donate aprons no matter where we live.  Your help has been amazing, and I look forward to continuing our work.  We currently need child size and adult size. 

Firefighter Quilts

Yes, we still have quilts to donate to the firefighters and will continue to do that as well.  If you have one or more, you would like to donate and can get it to me in the next month or so that would be great.  I can’t thank everyone enough for your generosity. 

It's not the end

Every day new people still come into the store.  I had hoped that someone would buy it and continue to have a quilt shop in Red Bluff but that hasn’t happened.  I see the sadness in everyone’s face as you shop one last time, or in some cases, many last times.  I want you to know that it’s ok to have change and that it’s not the end of Quilt Culture.  I never expected our little shop would be so successful and so beloved and so full of JOY.  You all did that and I’m so grateful to have been a part of it.  I wonder what will be next… I’m sure it will be something.
