JOY IS HERE!

Yes, we have a new long arm at the shop and her name is JOY!  She is almost ready for you to quilt your own quilts either free motion or using pantographs.  If you haven’t tried quilting on a long arm, you can try it here!  Don’t worry about bringing a quilt top to practice on because we have plenty of practice quilts for you to use.

Aprons for Autism update

With summer here and schools out of session our number of donations has slowed down, but keep sewing those aprons!, because we will need tons of them for schools when they are back in session this fall. 

Our most recent donation went to, Camp Odakoda in Clackamas, Oregon! Their mission is to facilitate the same kind of summer-camp that most children enjoy – with the added support, encouragement and expertise that we’ve specifically designed for children with these special needs. Check them out!

WANTED! We are still looking for a grant writer for Aprons for Autism. So if you know of anyone, please pass along our information and ask them to contact us. 

We are grateful for the help that every one of you has given us and the support for this great cause.
