Thankfulness and Teaching

In an effort to get education to every quilter and help teach you what you want to learn we launched FREE Open Sew a few months ago. We have had a great turn out for Open Sew Days. We want to remind everyone that you can come sew in our classroom for free and if there is a project you need help with or something you would like to learn, we are happy to help! Just go to our website www.quiltculture.art and sign up. Email us and let us know if there is a specific project you need help with so we can be ready to help teach on your Open Sew Day. There is a wealth of knowledge in the quilting community and quilters are generous with their knowledge and love passing it on to quilting friends during Open Sew.

Classes have been requested for so many things. Wallets are a fun way to carry with you your favorite fabrics and they are a fun gift that people use for their entire lives. We are happy to announce that on January 24th from 10am to 3pm we will be having a wallet class. $20 is the cost of the class and it will be open to 6 people. If you would like to participate, please sign up on our website and join us for the fun. Quilt Culture has all of the supplies you will need to make your wallet but if you have a favorite fabric, please feel free to bring it. We are looking forward to the FUN.

Quilt Culture is working hard to make your quilting journey as filled with JOY as possible. Part of that means finishing your quilts in as easy a way as possible. WIDEBACKS are a HUGE part of that! LOL We are working on stocking a large variety of Widebacks at reasonable prices to encourage and enable quilters to complete their quilts. An unfinished quilt can’t be used to keep warm, given as a gift or loved by a person you love. Please come by and take advantage of our widebacks to finish your beautiful works of art.

From the dates of December 5th, 2022 through January 5th, 2023 Quilt Culture will not be accepting new quilts for long arm quilting. I got the dates for my surgery and will need to take a break to heal and recuperate. If I already have your beautiful quilts they will be finished before my surgery date. Thank you for understanding and we will be back to quilting those beautiful quilts next year.
