HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Well, 2022 was exciting! So many new things happened. Quilt Culture was born on April 1 st , we were invited to vendor at quilt shows, we learned how to order fabric, lots and lots of fabric! We held events like the North State River Run Shop Hop, crazy inventory reduction sales and our epic Black Friday Sale! We even started FREE Open Sew days for everyone.

But more than that, we created relationships and friendships. We learned how to complete our craft by improving our skills and sharing our knowledge. I dare say, we became a family of quilters and I have to say that this family is international as we have had some visitors from very far away! All of this is JOYFUL! We are so grateful for the JOY so…..

2023 is going to be BIG … HUGE… and full of JOY!

First things first… QUILT CAMP!

January 5 th is the first of many camps where you get to stay here and sew here. 3 days and nights of lodging, lunches and dinners and most importantly all the sewing you can handle! Click HERE to sign up for camp… it’s not camp for kids.. it’s camp for Quilters! YEAH!

Quilt Culture has decided to launch Aprons for Autism. This is a very personal project as 2 of my grandchildren are on the Autism Spectrum. We know that quilters are amazing, kind and generous and without even asking you all will be there to help and we are so grateful for that. Please take a moment to CLICK HERE and read about this wonderful project. An apron only takes 1 1/3 yards of batik fabric and about an hour or so to make. They are cute, easy and fun! Make them by yourself, with your small group or your entire quilt guild. Kits are available or you can use your own fabric. Let the Friendship and Learning continue with FREE OPEN SEW!

Yes we will be continuing to have free open sew dates on the calendar where you can come and sew with friends at no charge. We believe that learning happens best when you are with others. We all have different skills and knowledge and every quilter I have met loves sharing their knowledge.

What better place to do that than at OPEN SEW. If you want to learn or need motivation, if you are stuck and have trepidation, if you’re not sure what direction to go then just come to OPEN SEW.

As always here at Quilt Culture we strive to give you access to new and exciting fabric lines all year round. The new year season is no exception. Here’s a preview of some of our new in stock lines.

LOOKING FOR TEACHERS

Quilt Culture is looking for teachers. If you have a class you would like to take and know who teaches it please let us know. We would love to know what skills you would like to hone in on this year so we can help. Learning is fun and fills us with JOY and at Quilt Culture we will never stop supplying the JOY for you!

Save the Date!.... Don’t keep it a secret because this will be BIG!

Ever heard of the Super Bowl? Well we were thinking that Quilt Culture should have it’s own “Super Bowl” so we decided to have the Super Seven Dollar Super Bowl Sunday Sale! That’s right… we are stocking up (you have seen all of the JOY packages being delivered on Facebook) and we are going to be celebrating a Super Bowl Sunday the only way Quilters know how, with a Super Sale Sunday February 12 th . 10am kickoff until the end of the 4 th quarter at 5pm. We look forward to seeing you there. This will be WAY more fun that watching your husband eat jalapeno poppers, wings and drink beer. We are so looking forward to the amazing year it’s going to be. We couldn’t do it without you and as always are so grateful for the JOY you bring.
