Don’t Worry… Everything’s Gonna Be Alright!

This past month there have been a lot of questions about the future of Quilt Culture in its current location. We have heard the concerns from our AMAZING quilting community, and we understand. The very thought that the “House of Joy” and the “Quilt Shop for the People” might not be in Red Bluff is a sad thought but please know that it isn’t our intention to break your hearts. We have also had a HUGE fire in the area this past week and as many of you know the reason we live in Red Bluff is because we lost our home in the Paradise Campfire. Not to worry though. We believe that whatever is meant to happen will. If we hadn’t lost everything in the Campfire we wouldn’t have moved to Red Bluff, and we wouldn’t have Quilt Culture, The House of Joy!

BIG changes have been made on our website! It has been reworked and has all the new things we have been working on at Quilt Culture. Take some time to check out all the tabs and see what we offer. You can get kits, sign up for classes, sign up for FREE sew days and so much more. There is even a Google Review button on the main page. Classes are a super fun way to not only learn new things but make friends and spend quality time with other quilters. Where in the World is Quilt Culture?

Aside from being in Red Bluff and open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 3pm we will also be at Cal Expo for the Rusty Barn show August 8th thru the 10th. We have great specials on merchandise at shows, so if you can come to a show and bring a friend! It’s FUN!

We also have 2 Pop-up Shops scheduled in September. You don’t have to be part of the event to come and shop at the Pop-Up Shop. Mark your calendars and fill your car and come for the fun!

NORTH STATE RIVER RUN

In case you haven’t seen the amazing Facebook page for our October Shop Hop, click here.

You will get to see the sample quilts being made by each store that is participating in the Shop Hop that is on October 3rd, 4th, and 5th from 9am to 6pm each day. When you turn in your passport you will get a copy of the “House of Joy” pattern used to make the quilt. This shop hop is going to be one for the record books! You will get a total of ½ yard of fabric from each shop that you go to. AMAZING!

In October if you are participating in the Shop Hop Block Of the Month, you will be coming to Quilt Culture to pick up your block.
