In case you haven’t seen the video on Facebook, we are collecting quilts to donate to every firefighter that helped defeat the Park Fire this year. If you can take a moment to look through your finished quilts and maybe find a few for this great cause we would so appreciate the help. Firefighters not only help us when fire threatens our homes and communities but also, they are the ones that pick us up when we fall and can’t get up. As you know we lost everything in the Paradise Campfire, and we can’t think of a better way to thank firefighters than with a quilt. The list from Cal Fire is long and this project may take a year but if we know quilters, we know that you will come thru in fine style. We are designing a label to place on the back of each quilt to express our gratitude. Thank you in advance, together with your help we can do this.
